REVIVE Kids Summer Kick-Off Sunday Series, June 12-26

June lessons, final 3 weeks

June 26 Lesson Snapshot: ‘Water Park: Bible at the Beach’

BOTTOM LINE:
We can take God with us anywhere we go!

OBJECTIVE:
Kids will learn that no matter where we go, we can take God with us.

KEY PASSAGE:
Exodus 40, The Israelites build and carry the Tabernacle.

MEMORY VERSE:
He answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” –
Luke 10:27

SUMMARY:
The Israelites had a Tabernacle they carried with them to remind them of God’s presence.
Today we have the Holy Spirit, and through the Holy Spirit, we can connect with God wherever we may go.

SIMPLE PRAYER:
Dear God,
Thank you for Jesus, and thank you for your Holy Spirit. Please be with us as we end
our summer and prepare to go back to school, and show us how we can live for you.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

June 19 Lesson Snapshot: ‘Famous Dads’ (Father’s Day)

BOTTOM LINE:
Dads are not perfect, but they love their kids and want the best for them.

OBJECTIVE:
Kids will learn to appreciate how much their dads care for them.

KEY PASSAGE:
Genesis 37:2-4, Jacob gives his son a coat.
Proverbs 2:1-8, Solomon’s message to his son.
John 3:16, God gave up his son to be our Heavenly Father

MEMORY VERSE:
“Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction.” – Proverbs 1:8A (NIV)

SUMMARY:
Dads can go overboard. They can be demanding, and they can drive you nuts. But Dads love their kids, and even if your earthly father doesn’t, your heavenly Father always will.

SIMPLE PRAYER:
Dear God,
Thank you for fathers, and thank you for being our Heavenly Father. We pray that you will be a guide to our dads as they strive to guide us in how to live for you.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

June 12 Lesson Snapshot: ‘Finding Jesus: Dolphins’

BOTTOM LINE:
God wants us to share Jesus with other people.

OBJECTIVE:
Kids will learn that when we know Jesus, we should share Jesus with others.

KEY PASSAGE:
Acts 8:26-40, Philip and the Ethiopian

MEMORY VERSE:
“Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us
from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39 (NIV)

SUMMARY:
Dolphins are very social animals talking with one another through vocal clicks and
non-verbal behaviors. Kids will learn that when we know Jesus, we should be vocal
about it – talking about Jesus with others.

SIMPLE PRAYER:
Dear God,
Help us to be talkative about Jesus and share his love with others.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
