Destinations: Choose The Path That Takes You Where You Want To Go
Sometimes we blame God for our difficulties but in reality,
we made an unwise choice and it got us on the wrong path and thus the wrong destination.

Today, we want to talk about “Choosing Wisdom.”

Psalms 23:1-6
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Sometimes we blame God for our difficulties but in reality,
we made an unwise choice and it got us on the wrong path and thus the wrong destination.

Today, we want to talk about “Choosing Wisdom.”

The Book of Proverbs is all about three different types of people:

1.The Simple: They Don’t Know

You want to proactively plan so that you are not re-actively regrettable!

2.The Foolish: They Know But Don’t Do It

The right information with application equals transformation!

3.The Wise: They Know And Do It

Wise people learn from everybody!

BECAUSE: We are all headed for a Destination.
And you must Choose The Path That Takes You Where You Want To Go so that Goodness and Mercy will follow you all the days of your life!

Proverbs 14:15
The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps.

Luke 22:7-13
Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.” “Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they asked. He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.” They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover.

Proverbs 13:16
All who are prudent act with knowledge, but fools expose their folly.

Proverbs 14:16
The wise fear the Lord and shun evil, but a fool is hotheaded and yet feels secure.

Proverbs 12:15
The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.

Proverbs 13:20
Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.

Proverbs 18:21
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Luke 6:45
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
