Three important questions concerning the Eucharist:
I. IS THE EUCHARIST A SYMBOL?
When we break bread during communion, we remember that Christ’s body was broken for us.
Furthermore, the cup of juice is a symbol of Jesus’ blood that was shed to cover our sins.
II. IS THE EUCHARIST MORE THAN A SYMBOL?
When we participate in Eucharist, God is here and present in that moment.
III. WHAT IS OUR PART IN THE EUCHARIST?
Before we participate in the Eucharist, Paul tells us in that we are first to examine ourselves—search our hearts.
Romans 8:32
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all.
