A Better Way “Stay Compassionate”
1 Thessalonians 3:11-13

Pastor Tom Cogle
When the believers living in Thessalonica were going through tremendous chaos, Paul’s prayer for them was not for God’s protection or the removal of the chaos. He prayed that they become more loving and compassionate toward others.
WHY?
1. The E__________________ of Compassion
1 Thessalonians 3:12
“to increase and abound in love”
2. The E__________________ of Compassion
1 Thessalonians 3:12“
to each other and for everyone else”
3. The E__________________ of Compassion
1 Thessalonians 3:12“
just as we also do for you”
4. The E__________________ of Compassion
1 Thessalonians 3:13
“so that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness”
5. The E__________________ of Compassion
1 Thessalonians 3:13
“so that He may establish your hearts”
1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 NASB1995
11 Now may our God and Father Himself and Jesus our Lord direct our way to you; 12 and may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you; 13 so that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.
