Finding Relationship Through God’s Top Ten: Priority
Most people think The Ten Commandments are a list of rules / Do’s & Don’ts. But actually, the Ten Commandments are principles for living. Those principles enhance our relationships with God and other people.

Exodus 20:1-3
And God spoke all these words, saying: “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. “You shall have no other gods before Me.
Romans 6:6
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
Exodus 20:18-21
Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off. Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.” And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.” So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

1.IT’S ABOUT RELATIONSHIP
When we look back on the Ten Commandments – we see Ten Principles that will depend our relationship with God. Yet, you and I determine the depth of our relationship with God.
2.WORSHIP GOD ONLY
The first commandment was to clarify that there is only one God, the Father and Creator of us all.
Life will not work when we have other gods before the One true God.
3.PUT GOD FIRST
This first Commandment is saying, “Put God first in your life above anything and everything else.” The principle of Priority or First runs all thru scripture
