Text: 2 Corinthains 12:15 NKJV
We overcomplicate God’s will and underestimate God’s goodness.
God’s will is more about a “who” than a “do.”
Knowing God’s will—starts with knowing God’s heart.
Matthew 6:34 NLT
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
James 4:13-15 NIV
13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”
14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.
The best way to find God’s will for your future is to live faithfully for Jesus today.
2 Corinthians 12:15 NKJVAnd I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved
Acts 13:36 NKJV
David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep (died).
Hebrews 9:27 NKJV
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.
God’s will is for us to proclaim Jesus to a lost and dying world.
There are those who have sowed seeds in rocky, hard soil, so this generation could reap a harvest today, and the harvest is ripe for picking!
1Timothy 4:12 NKJV
“Let no one despise your youth.”
Acts 6:10 NKJV
They were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.
Blood has a voice!
- Able’s blood cried out to God from the ground.
- Jesus’ blood speaks. (Hebrews 12:24)
Don’t you sense something is different this time?
For God so loved the world that He SPENT His one and only Son for you and for me.
- Publicly executed in an open space
He SPENT His life for you.
Will you not make the will of God for your life overcomplicated?
Will you give Him your life today?
