We live in a culture right now that there are so many discouraging words, that you have to become hard of hearing in order to stay encouraged.
Every person we meet needs a word of encouragement!
Before we post on social media or speak:
T-H-I-N-K:
T – Is what you are about to say or post Truthful?
H – Is it Helpful?
I – Is it Inspiring?
N – Is it Necessary?
K – Is it Kind?
Proverbs 25:11 The right word the right time is like precious gold set in silver.
In Acts 9 and 11, Barnabas was an encourager.
1. AN ENCOURAGER SEES THE POTENTIAL IN OTHERS ANDCHEERS THEM ON.
2. IF YOU WANT TO BE AN ENCOURAGER, HELP OTHERCHRISTIANS TO GROW IN THEIR FAITH.
If we had more Barnabas’s, we would have more Pauls today.
Whatever you’re going through let me encourage you today to remain true to the Lord.
