Love Like You’ve Never Been Hurt
All of us have been hurt in a relationship at some point.
Some people carry hurts to the grave.
God has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

II Corinthians 5:17-21
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

All of us have been hurt in a relationship at some point.
Some people carry hurts to the grave.
God has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
Sometimes families won’t speak to each for years over hurts.
God’s high standards of reconciliation are not for sinners, it’s for you and me as believers.
Reconcile – “to settle things, to resolve them, to find a peaceful resolution”
So, “What do you want me to do? Do you want me to get on my knees and beg them?”
•God took the first step and every other step necessary to reconcile you and me back to Himself.
•Now He says, “Reconcile yourself to your parents, brothers, sister, children, etc.”
Love Like You’ve Never Been Hurt
Sometimes the fiery trials we go thru aren’t about us. It’s so thru our story of victory someone else can be healed. Sometimes our stripes are for their healing!
We need to keep loving people no matter what they do.
It’s never wrong to love.
You are never lowering your standards when you love.
You are never compromising when you love.
LOVE NEVER FAILS.
