Life is unpredictable. But you were made to persevere, no matter the highs and lows.
HOW DO RISE UP AND STAND FIRM
1. WE CAN REJOICE IN OUR LIVING HOPE.
In all this you greatly rejoice … 1 Peter 1:6 NIV
If you’re God’s child, no matter who you are, where you are or what you’re facing, you have reason for joy today.
2. WE CAN REJOICE THAT OUR TRIALS ARE NOT WASTED.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4 NIV
3. WE CAN KEEP AN ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE.
If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied1 Corinthians 15:19 ESV.
I have written briefly to you, exhorting and declaring that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it.1 Peter 5:12 ESV
