There may never be a time in history when end-times prophecy is more aligned with the culture and circumstances of the world than it is today.
SOCIALISM – Are the public cries for shared wealth and government control a sign of the times? The heedlessness of the people in Noah’s day is being duplicated today in our society. I do not believe that you can be a Christian and a socialist. Notice how socialism is slowly but surely taking control in America:
1. THE DESTRUCTION OF MONUMENTS
2. CANCEL CULTURE
3. THE DISMANTLING OF THE NUCLEAR FAMILY
4. THE REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH
5. THE DEFUNDING OF THE POLICE
What can we do?
1. Review what the Bible Says:
· The Bible Affirms the Dignity of Work.
o Ephesians 4:28
· The Bible Affirms Private Property.
o Exodus 22
· The Bible Condemns Theft
o Exodus 20:15
· The Bible Condemns Covetousness
o Exodus 20:17
· The Bible Promotes Saving
o Proverbs 13:22
· The Bible promotes Land Ownership
o Acts 4
· The Bible Promotes Investment
o Matthew 25
· The Bible Teaches that the Laborer is Worthy of His Wages
o Luke 10:7
Socialism contradicts every single one of those principles.
2. Refuse to Live by Lies.
3. Resolve to Follow Christ and not just Amire Him.
4. Rethink Small Groups.
5. Resist any way you can.
6. Remember Venezuela.
The Good News: There is a utopia coming. When Jesus returns, the government will rest on His shoulders. His kingdom will be forever and ever!
