“Maybe Christmas,” he thought, “doesn’t come from a store.
“Maybe Christmas…..perhaps…..means a little bit more!”
There was so much misunderstanding in the culture that Joseph and Mary lived in about the word king. So, Jesus came as a Prince.
The story of Christmas wasn’t peaceful, but He came to bring peace.
Shalom: “Peace.” Not the absence of pain or conflict, or adversity or affliction. The word shalom means inner peace even though there is outer chaos.
Jesus came to give us more than tranquil peace in the midst of a conflict and adversity. He came to give us peace with God the Father!
Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
