THE SEVEN CHURCHES OF REVELATION – Remember God’s Faithfulness

Sunday Mornings: June 26 – August 28 The book of Revelation contains letters of encouragement, correction, and instruction for seven churches in Asia Minor. While these letters were penned by the Apostle John thousands of years ago, the message is directly from Jesus and is for every generation. In his new series, The Seven Churches of Revelation, Pastor Tom Cogle explains these messages from Jesus and helps us understand how they apply to us today.

The Seven Churches of Revelation

John’s second letter was to the church at Smyrna. The were being severely persecuted. The main thing that Jesus is trying to get across to this church is I am faithful.

1. REMEMBER GOD HAS BEEN FAITHFUL.

If you’re going through a trial right now the best thing you can do is remember that God has been faithful to you in the past.

2. REMEMBER GOD IS FAITHFUL.

You can know, no matter what you are going to have to face in the soon coming days, that God will be faithful to you.

3. REMEMBER HE WILL BE FAITHFUL.

God always has been, He is, and He always will be faithful.

Revelation 2:10b NKJV

Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

The crown of life signifies you have finished the race.
