The Church at Laodicea was the Lukewarm Church. Jesus uses the Laodicean’s water supply as a reference to being hot, cold, and lukewarm.
This portion of scripture in Revelation 3 has nothing to do with their commitment to God. It all has to do with how the church in Laodicea made God taste to unbelievers!
Psalms 34:8 NKJV
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.
1. SPIRITUAL WEALTH
To restart our relationship with Jesus we must take our mind off of worldly things and set our mind on heavenly things.
2. SPIRITUAL HEALTH
Pride causes spiritual blindness because people will not admit that they are wrong.
3. SPIRITUAL GARMENTS
If you are a Christian and you’re not living righteously, it defiles your conscience.
