Jesus final instructions to His disciples was to wait for the promised baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Three Baptisms:
1. Baptism of the Holy Spirit – Salvation 1 Corinthians 12:13
2. Water Baptism Matthew 28:19
3. Baptism in the Holy Spirit Matthew 3:11

3. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
Great Joy in Samaria – Acts 8:12-17
1. They believed – salvation (v. 12)
2. They were baptized – water (v. 12)
3. They received the Holy Spirit (v. 19)
The Pattern Continues in Ephesus – Acts 19:1-6
1. They believed – salvation (vv. 1-2)
2. They were baptized – water (v. 4-5)
3. They Holy Spirit came upon them (v. 6)
