Luke 15:17-19
“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’
Genesis 20:1-6
Now Abraham moved on from there into the region of the Negev and lived between Kadesh and Shur. For a while he stayed in Gerar, and there Abraham said of his wife Sarah, “She is my sister.” Then Abimelek king of Gerar sent for Sarah and took her. But God came to Abimelek in a dream one night and said to him, “You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman.” Now Abimelek had not gone near her, so he said, “Lord, will you destroy an innocent nation? Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister,’ and didn’t she also say, ‘He is my brother’? I have done this with a clear conscience and clean hands.” Then God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me. That is why I did not let you touch her.
Acts 5:1-3
Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet. Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?

This series will look at Jesus’ Parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15 and discuss why believers sometimes get lost.
If there is an area in your life that you are away from God, how do you come home? WHAT’S THE WAY HOME?
1. Be Honest with Yourself
The first step in coming home to God is you have got to be honest with yourself.
2. Be Honest with Others
It’s important to confess your sins, your offenses, no matter how small they are. If you won’t confess the little things in your life, you definitely won’t confess the big things.
3. Be Honest with God
If you are not honest with yourself and others, you are not honest with God.
God has already paid the price to forgive you of what’s “in your hand.” All He needs is for you to be honest and bring it out so He can help you with it.
