Where Have All the Good Men Gone?

There are a lot of ideas in our world today about what it is to be a man, to be a father. Because of that, it is caused our generation of men to have a lot of confusion about true manhood and fatherhood.
We have a crisis of boys growing up to be real men. America is one of the only cultures in human history that does not have a rite of passage into manhood?
Only a man can bestow manhood on another man. Because when boys try to declare themselves men, they must often just consume bigger toys, and they call it “becoming a man.”
The results: ENTITLEMENT over RESPONSIBILITY.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

Provider & Protector
· Prophet, Priest, and Servant-King
Apart from Christ, there’s not a man, there’s not a father in the world who has what it takes.
We see manhood distorted primarily in one or two ways:·
Passivity & Abuse
There is not a man, there is not a father who can stand up and act like a man until they bend their knee and surrender their life to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
