Our God heals, but He doesn’t heal everyone all the time.
1.Trophimus – couldn’t continue with Paul
2.Timothy – “take some medicine”
3.Paul – “My grace will be enough”
THREE REASONS JESUS DIDN’T DO MIRACLES:
1. Jesus refused to perform miracles to prove Himself.
2.Jesus never performed a miracle that interfered with God’s ultimate plan.
3.Jesus didn’t do miracles where there was no faith.
THREE EXAMPLES OF FAITH GOD RESPONDS TO:
1.The woman who couldn’t stop bleeding for 12 years.
2.The man with leprosy
3.The blind man
TWO EXAMPLES OF FAITH THAT AMAZED JESUS:
1.The Roman Centurion – “WOW”
2.His Home Town – “wow”
When your faith is small – use what you have!
Faith doesn’t rest on what God does or doesn’t do, but on who He is.
His highest purpose isn’t to heal our bodies, it’s to save our souls.
Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
