James 5:17 Elijah was a man just like us.
Another translation says: Elijah was as human as we are.
Elijah showed up during a period of Israel’s history that was very dark, like America is today. But God used Elijah to help Israel turn back to God.
Revival is what God does for us as believers.
Evangelism is what we do for God.
We need the power to stand in our day.
4 principles from Elijah’s life that gave him the power to stand:
1. ELIJAH STOOD CONTINUALLY IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD.
2. ELIJAH WAS A MAN OF PRAYER.
3. ELIJAH KNEW THE SCRIPTURE AND ACTED UPON IT.
4. ELIJAH FAITHFULLY DELIVERED THE MESSAGE.
