If there’s anything in your life that
you try to control, what is it?
What you attempt to control the most often reveals where you trust God the least.
You don’t always have the power to control, but you always have the power to surrender.
Three questions to ask yourself when tempted to take control:
1. Is it worth my concern?
2. Is it mine to control?
3. Is it for God alone?
Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart ** and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, at any moment He could have taken control, but instead He surrendered to His Father’s will.
All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give
I will ever love and trust Him
In His presence daily live
