Our society is tolerant of almost everything except biblical Christianity, and that can put us on the defensive.
As I study the life of Elijah, I find he shows us how we can overcome our timidity and stop being intimidated by our culture as we follow Christ.
You and I can overcome our intimidating culture if we are:
1. FIRM IN OUR CONVICTIONS
2. FILLED WITH COMPASSION
3. FERVENT IN PRAYER
4. FEARLESS BEFORE EVIL
5. FUELED BY OUR FAITH
Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
