THE JOYOUS KINGS (The Wise Men or Magi) The two keys to joy: •Worshipping God exuberantly •Giving to God extravagantly They are also the keys to God speaking to you. 2. THE JEALOUS KING (King Herod) Herod was crazy! Why? He wouldn’t give up power and control. He wanted to control everything and everyone around him. You will never have JOY until you give up control. 3. THE JUST KING (Jesus) The Creator and Sustainer of the universe and King of kings came into the world as a vulnerable and helpless baby. You can experience joy by totally surrendering your life to Christ.

Most of us have seen the movie: A Christmas Story in which in the 1940s, a young boy named Ralphie attempts to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa that a Red Ryder BB gun really is the perfect Christmas gift. In this three-part message series entitled “The Real Christmas Story”, Pastor Tom Cogle helps us understand what it means to have God’s favor and how to walk in the grace that comes along with it.
